What Happens to My Data and Account When My SLP Now Subscription Ends?

When your SLP Now subscription ends, your account and its associated content, including session notes and data, may be deleted as outlined in SLP Now's terms of service (Read more here). However, there are important policies and options to help you manage and preserve your data.

Data Retention Policies

  • Your account information, including student data and caseload information, will be retained in backup logs for 7 years after your subscription expires. This allows you to reactivate your subscription at any time during that period and regain access to your stored information.

  • If needed, you can contact SLP Now support to request access to this backup information within the 7-year retention period.

Steps for Data Preservation

To ensure you have access to important data even after your subscription ends, follow these steps:

  1. Export Important Notes: Export any session notes or student data you want to retain. This ensures you have offline access to your records.

  2. Archive Students Instead of Deleting Them: Rather than deleting students from your account, you can archive them. Archived students are accessible under the 'Inactive' tab and can be restored later. (Learn more here)

  3. Batch Save Notes: Save session notes and graphs as PDF files in bulk. Detailed steps for batch saving notes can be found in this guide: (How to batch print notes and graphs).

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your data and ensure its security even after your account has been deactivated.
