How do I set up a student's service time?

If you're tired of tallying up your students' session or minute count, this tool is for you! SLP Now can automatically count any sessions and/or track any minutes logged in the Planner.

Here's how to set that up:

1. Click on a student's name on the Caseload page.

2. Click the Add Service Time button (about halfway down the page, to the right).

3. Enter the time (e.g., 30), unit (e.g., minutes, hours, sessions), period (e.g., day, week, year), and Session Type. Click here to learn how to set up your Session Types.

4. Click Save.

If you'd like to track multiple service units (e.g., time and number of sessions) or multiple session types, repeat the steps above! You can add as many service times as you need!

***Please note that for service times to be calculated accurately, the session type that you select when setting up your student's service time must also be selected when you set up your session for that student in the Planner.

For example, if you select "Therapy" as your session type for a student, you will need to select "Therapy" from the Type dropdown under your Session Details when scheduling the student's session in the Planner. This will ensure your service minutes are calculated accurately!
