This article discusses how SLP Now connects goals in the goal bank to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

Often, a requirement for school-based speech services is academic impact. To justify academic impact, our goals should link back to academic state standards.

SLP Now is here to help streamline your goal writing process. Now, the goals in our Goal Bank can show the CCSS they connect to!

Where is the CCSS shown in SLP Now?

CCSS In the Goal Bank

To review the recommended CCSS, click into a student's profile and click on the Goals tab. Next, click Add Goal.

From there, click on the box next to Show CCSS. Now, the CCSS will appear next to the goal.

CCSS In the Goal Recommendations

After administering an assessment, click on View Recommendations to review goal suggestions based on the student's performance.

On this page, click Show CCSS. Now, the Common Core State Standards next to each goal recommendation.

CCSS in the Materials Library

You can now search for materials based on their CCSS!

First, head to the Materials page. On the left-hand side, you are now able to filter materials based on their CCSS!
