How do I create custom session types? How do I color code my sessions?

You have the ability to create custom session types under your Account Settings.

Click the Edit button to edit an existing session type.

You can edit the name or color of your session type.

Click Add Session Type to create a new session type.

Type in a name and select a color for your new session type.

You can Unarchive it if you change your mind.

Click the Delete button if you want to remove the session type from the list.

You can only delete if the session type is not in use.

How Can I Use Session Types?

Once you've set up your Session Types, you will be able to color-code sessions on your Planner.

When you are creating or editing a session, you can change the Session Type by clicking on the Type dropdown menu. Select the appropriate Type and save your changes by clicking "Save and Back" on the top right. Additionally, you can modify the session type on the Caseload page by editing the student’s session details and selecting the matching Session Type to align with the Service Time category.

If you are using our treatment time tracker, you'll use your Session Types to set up your tracking. Ensure that the Session Type matches the Service Time category to maintain accurate tracking and reporting.
