How do I import my Caseload to SLP Now from a spreadsheet?

Having trouble with your import? Send us a message using the teal chat button below! We want to make this as easy as possible for you!

Quickly import your caseload from an Excel spreadsheet (.xls or .xlsx).

First, let's make sure your spreadsheet follows these requirements:

  • Does your spreadsheet include separate columns for first and last names?

  • Are the dates on your spreadsheet in one of the following formats?

    • MM/DD/YYYY

    • MM/DD/YY

  • If applicable, do the "Checkbox" fields have only one value?

Great! Now, you can head to your Caseload tab and click Import Caseload at the top:

A pop-up modal will give you the option to drag and drop your file to upload, or click the arrow to find the file from a folder on your computer.

Using the dropdowns, you will now map your spreadsheet column names to the designated SLP Now column names.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to preview student info if you would like to verify that all of the information is aligned correctly. Now, click Import!

You'll see a pop-up showing that your import job is processing. Please don't close the window or navigate away until complete!

You should then see a confirmation that your file was processed! If something goes wrong with your import, you'll be able to download the Error Logs for more information.

Please reach out to us at [email protected] or via chat if we can help with anything!

Now your Caseload is ready to roll! The next step is to create sessions in your Planner! When you're ready, here are the next steps.

BONUS TIP: If you want to include custom student Goals on your spreadsheet to be imported, follow the steps in this article.
